Covenant House Fund Raiser November 26

This past summer I was commissioned to create four paintings for greeting cards for Covenant House. Two are up on this page, and more on the Winsome Portraits page. A great organization, so I'm privileged to have been selected.

Their Fund Raiser will be at Birks downtown Vancouver, on Thursday, November 26th. I will be donating a Gift Certificate for $1000 Toward a Home and Garden Portrait. Hope you can come. Please email if you would like more info.

I have two Home and Garden Portraits exhibited at Costen Catbalue Goldsmith, at 1832 West 1st Avenue, at 1st and Burrard. This is a gorgeous shop, treat yourself to some spectular goldsmithing while you're there!

New Home and Garden: Life on Haida Gwaii

On this page: Here's life in Paradise on Haida Gwaii. This painting tells the story of a couple from both The Raven Clan and Eagle Clan. They harvest the fruits of their land, fish and smoke sockey, and live the traditional life of the Haida on their gorgeous estate next to the sea.

I have happily taken on a part time teaching position at a private college downtown called Vancouver School of Art and Design, where I'm having a great time instructing a Life Drawing Course.

Always been either creating my art, or teaching for most of my career, and I'm happily now taking a course for my own edification in Concept Art for film. It's been so wonderful to be a student! As well, a group of women in Point Grey have asked me to teach a course in Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, which is going to be great fun!

Lynn Valley Paradise

Everything you need to make life paradise! A barbeque, a perfect dog, two beautiful kids in their own little house. The beautiful pine tree is an important presence on the property, and it is used to compose the views of both front and back of the house and property.
